An intercom (intercommunication device), talkback or doorphone is a stand-alone voice communications system for use within a building or small collection of buildings, functioning independently of the public telephone network. Intercoms are generally mounted permanently in buildings and vehicles. Intercoms can incorporate connections to public address loudspeaker systems, walkie talkies, telephones, and to other intercom systems. Some intercom systems incorporate control of devices such as signal lights and door latches. - pa systems | pa system | portable pa | audio systems | pa audio systems | loop system

PA systems are often used in venues such as school auditoriums, Supermarkets, churches, and small bars. PA systems with a larger number of speakers are widely used in institutional and commercial buildings, to read announcements or declare states of emergency. Intercom systems, which are often used in schools, also have microphones in each room so that the occupants can reply to the central office. - pa systems | pa system | portable pa | audio systems | pa audio systems | loop system Public address systems
If you want to install In-ceiling speakers or In-wall speakers in hotels, schools, churches or restaurants it is often much easier to use Line Speaker System. The most common way is the 100 V system. It is a ”constant-voltage-system” where the amplifier is equipped with a step-up transformer which increases the normal voltage output up to 100 Volts. The main difference between a low impedance speaker system in 4 or 8 ohm is the way the individual loudspeakers are connected to the amplifier. - pa systems | pa system | portable pa | audio systems | pa audio systems | loop system 100 volt line speaker systems
Industrial background music and paging systems are used to provide music to relieve the boredom of repetitive work or mask the noise of machines. These systems usually include a paging system which drops the level of the music whilst announcements are made. Industrial systems usually require quantities of loudspeakers spread over a large area and use a system called "100 VOLT LINE". The basis of this is quite simple, the sound produced by the amplifier is sent through a transformer which increases the voltage on the speaker cables to 100 Volts. This high voltage is then sent to the loudspeakers, each of which has a small transformer which transforms the high voltage back down to a lower voltage that the loudspeakers can handle. a 100 Watt 100 Volt Line amplifier can drive 10 x 10 Watt speakers or 20 x 5 Watt speakers etc. - pa systems | pa system | portable pa | audio systems | pa audio systems | loop system Background music systems

People with hearing loss can dream of a future when hearing aids might also serve as wireless loudspeakers, delivering clear, customized sound from inside their ears. They can dream of communities where worship places, auditoriums, business windows, and home TV rooms all broadcast their sound through these in-the-ear loudspeakers. Thanks to the refinement of "induction loop" systems--which magnetically transmit sound to hearing aids and cochlear implants with telecoils (T-coils)--that future can be now - pa systems | pa system | portable pa | audio systems | pa audio systems | loop system Hearing aid loops
A wireless microphone, as the name implies, is a microphone without a physical cable connecting it directly to the sound recording or amplifying equipment with which it is associated. Also known as a radio microphone, it has a small, battery-powered radio transmitter in the microphone body, which transmits the audio signal from the microphone by radio waves to a nearby receiver unit, which recovers the audio. The other audio equipment is connected to the receiver unit by cable. Wireless microphones are widely used in the entertainment industry, television broadcasting, and public speaking to allow public speakers, interviewers, performers, and entertainers to move about freely while using a microphone to amplify their voices. - pa systems | pa system | portable pa | audio systems | pa audio systems | loop system Wireless microphones
Conference Phones: These are important for holding audio calls in small to medium conference rooms. These phones can also be great in larger conference rooms where budget is a concern and integration with video is not required. You should still require high-quality, full-duplex audio for even the smallest conference rooms. - pa systems | pa system | portable pa | audio systems | pa audio systems | loop system Conference table systems
